Who is SpeakSoftly for?

SpeakSoftly was specifically designed for people who work with the environment, who are involved (or may become involved) in conflicts over natural resources. Three key groups were identified: Rural Landholders, Natural Resource Managers, and Community Group Members.

Although the training is targeted at these three groups, the skills being taught are applicable to a wide range of situations, and will be valuable to people from all walks of life.

Because of the nature of positive-sum negotiation, the more people who know the techniques and skills involved, the better outcomes are likely to be for all parties. With this in mind, SpeakSoftly is available to anyone with an internet connection.
